Funerals

The role of a celebrant at a funeral is to create a ceremony that reflects the wishes, beliefs, cultural background and values of your loved one and your family. Nothing is imposed on you and you will have complete choice and final approval over the ceremony. A celebrant funeral honours death and celebrates life.

As expected sometimes people can’t find the right words at a time of bereavement. By closely communicating with the family and really understanding them, I can be their voice on the day. In collaboration with you I will carefully write a eulogy and ceremony with music, readings, unique symbols and rituals to give those present the best opportunity to acknowledge the loss and to gain some comfort in their grieving. With compassion and great care I can officiate the ceremony at the funeral home, crematorium, cemetery or memorial location of your choice.
